Both sheriffs had been contacted by the FBI. And so, when he arrived he started to gut the thing while it was alive. Several hours later, a man makes an ATM withdrawal using Samantha's card. He suggested to investigators that this was when he began killing people. And so, it's there's very little you can tell. A search of the car uncovers Samantha's ID, her debit card, her cellphone and a gun along with a disguise that matched the man in the ATM photos. His parents had by then become fundamentalist Christians, moving from churches Keyes described as "Amish" to a "more militant militia sort of church" when he was a teenager. And when he asks the driver for identification. The FBI said Keyes admitted frequenting prostitutes, but its unknown whether Keyes met any of his victims this way. He said he killed two people in separate incidents sometime in 2005 or 2006, and then murdered a couple in the state between 2001 and 2005. The five villages were located on the shores of the Pacific Ocean and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. "Once I started, you know there was nothing else like it," Keyes told investigators.
